CWHI is proud to announce an award by Saipem for the manufacture and supply of approximately 1,500 metric tons of Foundation Piles and Transition Pieces, delivered in early November, for ENI's Quiluma and Maboqueiro (Q&M) Project in Angola.

Each item, manufactured to EN 10225 and EN 15614 standards, has an Outer Diameter range of 800mm-1,676.4mm and a Wall Thickness range of 25mm-80mm. The fabrication was carried out at our Zhongshan yard in South China.

The Quiluma and Maboquiero (Q&M) gas fields are located in the shallow waters off the coast of Angola in the Northern Gas Complex. The development of the fields represents the first non-associated gas development project in Angola and will supply gas to the Angola LNG plant, boosting LNG production to meet domestic requirements as well as fuelling the industrial development of the country.
