Completion of First Transition Piece Barrels for Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm

We are delighted to announce the successful completion of the first Transition Piece Barrels for the Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm Project, one of the largest offshore wind developments in the UK.

 

Following fabrication at our Zhongshan Yard, the Transition Piece Barrels are transported to CWHI's Longxue Yard for the next phase, including blasting, painting, and final assembly. Longxue is equipped with four blasting workshops and seven painting workshops, ensuring efficiency and quality at scale.

 

Transition Pieces

Locations: Zhongshan & Longxue Yards

Specs: 8m outer diameter, 30m in length, and approximately 600 tonnes each

Scope: 30 Transition Pieces to be delivered
