CWHI Highlights Inch Cape Success at Global Offshore Wind 2026

CWHI, a leading global solutions provider for large-scale offshore wind manufacturing and a sponsor of Global Offshore Wind 2026, has successfully concluded its participation in the event, held on 16–17 June at Manchester Central. The two-day exhibition provided an important platform to engage with the international offshore wind community and share its latest project achievements with developers, operators, and supply chain partners from across the sector.

At Stand A48, CWHI showcased its successful execution on the Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm, one of the most significant offshore wind developments currently under construction in Scotland. The company delivered 32 XXL monopiles to the project, completing the contract safely and on schedule, demonstrating its ability to manage large-scale fabrication alongside complex marine logistics.

In parallel, CWHI also achieved a significant industry milestone through the delivery of 30 fully commissioned transition pieces to Inch Cape. This accomplishment makes CWHI the first Chinese supplier to deliver transition pieces to an offshore wind farm in the UK, reflecting the increasing importance of international collaboration and integrated global supply chains in supporting the energy transition.

CWHI's participation at Global Offshore Wind 2026 reinforced its commitment to the UK offshore wind market, which remains a core strategic market for the company, and its ambition to build enduring partnerships with leading developers and contractors. As offshore wind deployment continues to accelerate across global markets, CWHI remains focused on supporting future projects through its scalable manufacturing capabilities and proven track record of international delivery.

The company looks forward to building on the connections made during the event and exploring new opportunities to contribute to the continued growth of the UK offshore wind sector.
