Just weeks after the successful first delivery, CWHI proudly announces the arrival of the second batch of 8 XXL monopiles for the Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm. Transported aboard the ZHENHUA 33, the Monopiles are now being safely unloaded at Leith Port.
This milestone marks another significant achievement for the project, demonstrating CWHI's strong execution momentum and unwavering commitment to on-time delivery. Fabricated at CWHI’s Qinzhou Yard, each monopile – measuring up to 11.5 meters in diameter and weighing up to 2,300 tonnes – will serve as key foundations for one of Scotland’s most significant renewable energy developments.
“Our steady delivery progress is a clear testament to CWHI's global coordination and engineering excellence,” said Dale Young, Chief Development Officer. “Together with our partners, we continue to advance the foundations of a cleaner energy future.”
