CNOOD-Wenchong Heavy Industries (CWHI) and Guangzhou Wenchong Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. (GWSHI), a wholly owned subsidiary of CSSC Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (HPWS), have marked the fifth anniversary of their strategic partnership, built on trust, close collaboration and a shared commitment to the global energy industry. Over the past five years, the partnership has grown beyond individual projects into broader and deeper strategic cooperation, spanning both Offshore Wind and Offshore Oil & Gas.

The anniversary event at Longxue Yard brought together senior management from HPWS, GWSHI and CWHI, including Lijun Nie, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee and Chairman of the Labor Union of HPWS; Xinglin Zhang, Chairman of GWSHI; and Tina Xu, Chairman of CWHI, and other senior management leaders. The leaders participated in a Strategic Cooperation Meeting, reviewing the achievements of the CWHI–GWSHI partnership over the past five years, exchanging views on opportunities in the evolving global energy market, and exploring new avenues for deeper cooperation.

A key milestone has been the collaboration on the Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm in the UK, delivering 32 XXL Monopiles and 30 Transition Pieces - the first fully commissioned Transition Pieces supplied to the UK offshore wind market by a Chinese manufacturer. The partnership has also extended into Offshore Oil & Gas, including the NFPS Project and other collaborations. Together these projects reflect an important evolution: from providing individual manufacturing capabilities to delivering integrated project value across the full supply chain.
