CWHI is pleased to announce the successful delivery of approximately 4,350 tonnes of jacket piles, cones, and tubulars for Saipem Indonesia in support of the Tangguh UCC Project in Papua Barat, Indonesia.

Our scope of work covered procurement, fabrication, and project management, including structures with diameters ranging from 300–1,876mm and wall thicknesses of 13–100mm. The project was executed with strict quality, safety, and schedule control, reflecting CWHI's ability to deliver on technically demanding offshore energy projects.
The Tangguh UCC Project is a national strategic project that develops the Ubadari gas field, increases gas acquisition through carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS), and expands offshore compression capacity. It is expected to unlock around 3 trillion cubic feet of additional natural gas resources while also marking Indonesia's first at-scale CCUS initiative, with plans to sequester 15 million tonnes of CO2 in its initial phase.

By contributing to this landmark project, CWHI has once again demonstrated its strength in large-scale offshore fabrication and its commitment to advancing sustainable energy solutions.
"We are proud to have successfully supported Saipem Indonesia in the timely delivery of this critical package," said Dale Young, Chief Development Officer of CWHI. "Our contribution underscores CWHI’s role as a trusted partner in projects that balance energy security with carbon reduction, particularly in fast-growing markets like Indonesia."
